BKIT Solutions (“BKIT Solutions”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates ItsEasyNow, a unified Learning Management System (LMS), Job Portal, and Test/Assessment platform available as a mobile application (iOS & Android) and web application, designed primarily for colleges, universities, training institutes, and their students, faculty, and administrators (together, the “Service” or “App”).

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you (“User”, “you”), whether a student, faculty member, institution administrator, recruiter, or visitor, use ItsEasyNow. By creating an account or otherwise using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the App.

1. Overview

ItsEasyNow is provided to you either directly or through your educational institution / employer, who may act as the primary account administrator. Where your institution has enrolled you on ItsEasyNow, your institution controls certain account and academic-record settings, and BKIT Solutions acts as a service provider (data processor) for that institution in relation to academic data, while also acting as a data controller for account, device, and platform-usage information described below.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account & Profile Information: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, profile photo, password (stored in hashed/encrypted form).
• Academic / Institutional Information: college or institution name, roll number / student ID, department, course, batch/year, enrollment details, attendance, grades, assignment submissions, quiz and exam results, certificates.
• Job Portal Information: resume/CV, work experience, skills, education history, portfolio links, job applications, interview scheduling details, and preferences you share to be matched with recruiters and employers.
• Communications: messages, support tickets, feedback, and content you submit through in-app chat, forums, or discussion boards.
• Payment Information: where paid courses, certifications, or premium features are offered, billing details are processed by our third-party payment gateway partners. BKIT Solutions does not store full card or bank account numbers on its own servers.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, IP address, mobile network information, and app version.
• Usage Data: pages/screens visited, courses viewed, time spent on lessons, click-stream data, login timestamps, and crash/diagnostic logs.
• Location Data: approximate (IP-based) or precise location, only where required for features such as attendance verification, proctored/remote exam integrity checks, or campus-specific content, and only with your permission.
• Camera, Microphone & Screen Data: during AI-proctored/online assessments, the App may request access to your device camera and microphone to capture images, video, or audio for identity verification and exam-integrity monitoring. This data is used solely for that purpose and is retained only as long as necessary for academic-integrity review.
• Push Notification Tokens: to deliver course reminders, assignment deadlines, placement updates, and announcements.

2.3 Information From Third Parties

We may receive information about you from your educational institution (e.g., enrollment lists), corporate/recruiting partners, and integrated services (e.g., single sign-on, analytics, or cloud-storage providers) you choose to connect to your account.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate your identity;
• Deliver course content, track learning progress, and issue certificates;
• Conduct, proctor, and evaluate online tests and assessments;
• Operate the Job Portal, match students with relevant opportunities, and share applications with employers you apply to;
• Enable communication between students, faculty, institution administrators, and recruiters;
• Send administrative alerts, deadline reminders, placement notifications, and service updates;
• Generate aggregated, de-identified analytics and reports for institutions to measure learning and placement outcomes;
• Maintain platform security, detect fraud, prevent exam malpractice, and enforce our Terms of Service;
• Improve, troubleshoot, and develop new features of the App; and
• Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and institutional obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis & Consent

We process your information on the basis of: (a) your consent (e.g., when you register, or grant camera/microphone/location permissions); (b) performance of a contract (delivering the Service you or your institution signed up for); (c) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the App; and (d) compliance with legal obligations, including applicable data protection laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and, where applicable to users outside India, other regional data protection laws.

5. Students & Minors

ItsEasyNow is intended for use by college and university-level students, who are generally 17 years of age or older, and by adult faculty, administrators, and recruiters. Where an institution enrolls students who are minors under applicable law, the institution is responsible for obtaining any necessary parental or guardian consent prior to enrollment, and BKIT Solutions processes such students’ data solely on the institution’s instructions and for educational purposes. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us using the details in Section 15 and we will take reasonable steps to remove such information.

6. How We Share Information

We may share your information with:

• Your Institution: academic performance, attendance, and engagement data is visible to authorized faculty and administrators of the college/organization you are enrolled with.
• Employers & Recruiters: when you apply for a job or opportunity through the Job Portal, your resume and application details are shared with the relevant employer/recruiter.
• Service Providers: trusted third parties who help us operate the App, including cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, proctoring/AI-monitoring, SMS/email delivery, and customer-support tools, under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
• Legal & Safety: where required to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our Terms, protect the rights, property, or safety of BKIT Solutions, our users, or the public, or investigate exam malpractice or fraud.
• Business Transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements.

We do not share your personal data with unrelated third parties for their independent marketing use.

7. App Permissions

The ItsEasyNow mobile app may request the following device permissions, each of which you can manage from your device settings:

• Camera & Microphone: for proctored exams, video-based assignments, and profile photos.
• Storage/Files: to upload assignments, resumes, and download course material or certificates.
• Location: for attendance geo-verification and exam-integrity checks, where enabled by your institution.
• Notifications: to deliver reminders, announcements, and placement alerts.

Declining a permission may limit your access to the corresponding feature but will not affect your ability to use the rest of the App.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), encrypted storage of credentials, access controls, and regular security reviews, to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, or as required by your institution’s academic record-keeping policies and applicable law (e.g., examination and certification records). Proctoring video/audio captured during assessments is retained only for the period necessary to review exam integrity, after which it is securely deleted or anonymized. You may request earlier deletion of your data as described in Section 10, subject to any legal or institutional retention requirements.

10. Your Rights & Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access, review, and obtain a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to academic-record retention obligations of your institution;
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses (e.g., location, marketing communications) at any time;
• Opt out of non-essential push notifications and promotional emails; and
• Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer or the applicable data protection authority.

11. Cookies & Analytics

Our web platform uses cookies and similar technologies, and our mobile app uses analytics SDKs, to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some website functionality.

12. Third-Party Services & Links

The App may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment gateways, video- conferencing tools, or recruiter platforms. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

13. International Data Transfers

We primarily store and process data on servers located in India. Where data is transferred to or processed in another country (for example, via a cloud-hosting or analytics partner), we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection as required under applicable law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Policy on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date, and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the App or by email. Your continued use of ItsEasyNow after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
